Seventy-nine Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2010-11 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honor roll.
Olivet College senior Ben Kosmalski has earned 2011 All-MIAA second-team honors in baseball. All-league honors are based on a player’s statistics during the 28-game MIAA schedule.
The baseball team celebrated Senior Day by splitting a MIAA doubleheader with visiting Trine (Ind.) University today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. After being shutout 3-0 in the opener, the Comets bounced back to win the nightcap 7-2 behind a complete game pitching performance by freshman Jake Ball (Cadillac).
