2011 Olivet College Women's Cross Country News
Seventy-five Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2011-12 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honor roll.
Five Olivet College teams have received the 2011-12 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.
The Olivet College women’s cross country team has earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Comets had a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.41 during the fall semester.
The Olivet College women’s cross country team placed 35th today at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet. Oberlin (Ohio) College hosted the meet.

The Olivet College women’s cross country team ran today at the Loyola University/Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Beach in Chicago. One of the Midwest’s largest meets, the event featured NCAA Division I, II and III schools, NAIA institutions and junior colleges. Forty-five schools participated in the women’s race.
