Women’s cross country team competes at Manchester Invitational

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Olivet College women's cross country team competed today at the Manchester (Ind.) College Invitational.

Freshman Hayley Drummond (Williamston) led the Comets, as she ran the 6K course in 26:15.4. Freshman Lane Duckworth (Bellevue) was right behind her in 28:02.5. Seniors Crystal Ramon (Marshall), Carly Olson-Guggemos (DeWitt/ Homeschooled) and Courtney Osborn (Dorr/Wayland Union) were the next three Olivet finishers in 28:34.2, 28:38.7 and 29:47.6, respectively.

The Comets are off next Saturday and will then run at the 2011 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Saturday, Oct. 29. Alma College is the host school.
