The women’s track and field team has received an award for being a 2011 USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
Seventy-nine Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2010-11 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honor roll.
Three Olivet College teams have received the 2010-11 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.
Behind school-record performances in both relays, including a second-place finish in the 4x100, the women’s track and field team finished in fifth-place at the 2011 MIAA Field Day.
Led by Heather Nicklaw’s second-place finish in the high jump, the women’s track and field team sits in fifth-place after the first day of the 2011 MIAA Field Day.

Jeff Kavalunas and Karen Lutzke have been named track and field/cross country coaches at Olivet College, according to an announcement by Heather Bateman, director of athletics. Kavalunas will oversee the men’s programs, while Lutzke will oversee the women’s programs.
