#10 – Oct. 16: Volleyball team wins a set against nationally-ranked Hope
Normally, a team losing a match would not be included in a Top 10 list, but this case is different. The volleyball team was playing in front of its largest crowd of the season. Feeding off the energy inside The Cutler Event Center, the Comets won the second set against Hope, who entered the match ranked No. 2 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. At the time of the win, Olivet was the only MIAA school besides Calvin to win a set against the nationally-ranked Flying Dutch.
