Campbell named MIAA Golfer of the Week

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College senior Lauren Campbell (Fenton) has earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week honors.
Campbell posted two of the three lowest rounds ever in MIAA women's golf in a span of three days, as she led the Comets to the MIAA championship. She set a conference record for an 18-hole round Oct. 6 with a 70 at the MIAA Jamboree at Bedford Valley Country Club. Campbell followed that with rounds of 78 and 72 in winning medalist honors at the two-day MIAA Tournament Oct. 7-8 at Bedford Valley, as Olivet overcame a 15-stroke deficit heading into the weekend to win its fourth conference title in school history.
