Olivet College swimming teams earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams have received a Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
OLIVET, Mich. - The Olivet College men's and women's swimming teams have received a Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
Under the leadership of Head Coach Jake Taber, the Comet men's team had a 3.15 grade point average (GPA), while the women's team posted a 3.06 GPA. Olivet was one-of-four Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) schools to have both its men's and women's receive this honor.
The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (spring).
