Musielewicz named offensive and recruiting coordinator at Olivet College
Olivet College Head Football Coach Dan Pifer has announced the appointment of Dan Musielewicz as an assistant football coach, serving as the offensive and recruiting coordinator.
OLIVET, Mich. -- Olivet College Head Football Coach Dan Pifer has announced the appointment of Dan Musielewicz as an assistant football coach, serving as the offensive and recruiting coordinator.
"Dan is a great coach and tireless recruiter with an extremely high work ethic," said Pifer. "His number one quality is he goes above and beyond in everything he does. Dan will work as long and hard as he has to in order to get a job done."
Musielewicz served as the wide receivers coach at Trine (Ind.) University since 2006. During his time there, the Thunder won three consecutive Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships. Trine also made three straight trips to the NCAA Division III Playoffs, advancing as far as the second round in 2009 and 2010.
Prior to joining the Trine staff, Musielewicz was an assistant football and basketball coach at Tecumseh High School for one year.
He earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education, physical education and integrated science from Hillsdale College in 2005. While there, he played four years of football at receiver and one year of basketball for the Chargers. Musielewicz is taking classes to complete a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia (Calif.) University.
He plans to relocate to Coldwater with wife, Darcie, and daughter, Kendyl.
