Jensen and Williams earn All-MIAA honors in football

OLIVET, Mich. -- Olivet College seniors Robby Jensen (Boyne City) and James Williams (Battle Creek/Central) have earned 2011 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honors in football. Williams is a first-team return specialist, while Jensen is a second-team defensive back. All-league honors are based on the player's statistics during the six-game league schedule.
In MIAA play, Williams returned 26 kickoffs for 554 yards, averaging 21.3 per return. His longest return was 62 yards against Adrian. Jensen recorded 27 total tackles, including 19 solo stops. He also intercepted three passes and broke up five other passes.
For the entire 10-game schedule, Williams had 45 kickoff returns and averaged 21.2 yards per return. He also returned six punts for 90 yards. Jensen finished with 43 total tackles, four interceptions and eight pass break-ups.
