OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College Strength & Conditioning Coach Chris Stewart has been selected to be a facilitator at the Career in Sports Forum for the NCAA in Indianapolis, Ind., from June 8-11.
The forum discusses the tools necessary to find, interview and hold a job at all levels in athletics. The participants were hand-picked from all NCAA levels across the nation. Facilitators will help provide thoughts on how they were chosen for their jobs and present perspectives on the athletic job force for candidates. They will share “their story” along with an NCAA facilitated curriculum to produce candidates with better resumes, networks, opportunities and ultimately professionalism.
Candidates will leave the forum better prepared to apply themselves for interviews and possible opportunities to achieve an athletic position for their career in the NCAA and college athletics.
In addition, Stewart recently facilitated the Student-Athlete Leadership Forum for the NCAA in Dallas, Texas. Their motto was “We Serve, We Lead.” This link provides a look into the experiences Chris shared with student athletes, staff and fellow facilitators at this regional NCAA event.
