Women’s volleyball team defeats Wooster and Allegheny at MIAA-NCAC Crossover

DIAMONDALE, Mich. – The Olivet College volleyball team defeated College of Wooster (Ohio) and Allegheny (Pa.) College in four sets at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA)-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Crossover, played today at the Aim High Sports Complex in Dimondale.

  • Katie Billetdeaux recorded a match-best 18 kills.
  • Hayley Nash was next with 10 kills.
  • Meghan Botsch dished out 39 set assists.
  • Nash and Sydney Fitzcharles registered 14 digs apiece.

  • Olivet posted a .200 attack percentage compared to .098 for the Gators.
  • Champion slammed down a match-high 20 kills, with only three errors on 42 attempts for a .405 hitting percentage.
  • Prince joined her in double figures with 11 kills.
  • Notenbaum tallied 40 set assists.
  • Four players recorded double figure digs. Mundt topped the team with 25, followed by Mullin (19), Notenbaum (11) and Parker (10).

  • Grace Lengauer topped the team with 17 kills.
  • Olivia D'Andrea and Raelynn Dorscheid finished with 18 and 16 set assists, respectively.
  • Rebecca MacQuarrie collected 20 digs.

  • Olivet competes at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Tournament next Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14.
