The Olivet College volleyball team wrapped-up the 2003 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association regular season with a 30-23, 30-18, 30-22 loss today against Kalamazoo College at the Upton Center in Olivet.
Sophomore middle hitter Kendra Gilbert (Frankfort High School) led the Lady Comet front row attack with 10 kills. Freshman middle hitter Lori Graham (Alpena High School) was next with nine. Freshman Sarah Geasler (Laingsburg High School) had a team-high 22 set assists.
Defensively, freshman libero Julia Longman (Scotts/Climax-Scotts High School) was credited with 12 digs. Freshman Shannon Hall (Taylor Truman High School) recorded eight digs.
The Lady Comets are next in action on Tuesday, Nov. 4 when they travel to play Alma College in the first round of the 2003 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
