UOlivet women finish seventh at 2026 MIAA Field Day

HOLLAND, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's track and field team finished seventh at the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, held at Hope College's Gordon Brewer Track.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet posted a team score of 32 points. Calvin University edged Hope for first place by 24 points, 258 to 234. Trine University (Ind.) was third with 151 points, followed by Albion College, 45; Adrian College, 41; and Alma College, 36. Kalamazoo College was eighth with 20 points.
- Junior Aubrey Connelly had the Comets' top finish, as she placed second in the javelin (107 feet, 8 inches). She was also sixth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:10.57).
- Sophomore Kenzie Gray recorded the eighth-best mark in the discus throw (109 feet, 2 inches).
- Junior Joey Wilson finished eighth in the high jump. She cleared the bar at 5 feet, 1/4 inch for the fifth-best mark in school history.
- The 4x100-meter relay quartet of Connelly, junior Ellie Baynes, Wilson and sophomore Adalynn Rumsey finished seventh (53.39).
- The 4x400-meter relay quartet of Connelly, Wilson, freshman Danah Pearson and Rumsey placed eighth (4:34.99).
