"Emily had a fantastic heptathlon competition last week," said Olivet head coach Karen Lutzke. "She set personal best marks in five of the seven events. Emily kept her composure and was very relaxed throughout the competition. It was nice to see Emily's hard work pay off as she finishes her senior year of competition at Olivet."
The Comets are back in action Thursday and Friday at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Alma College is the host school. The heptathlon results will be included in the overall results from the championships for the first time in MIAA history.
