The Olivet College men’s and women’s track & field teams along with recent graduate Connor Bauserman have garnered academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for 2016-17.
Nine Olivet College athletics teams have received the 2016-17 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.
One hundred and nine (109) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll for 2016-17. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the fourth time in school history.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s track & field teams placed sixth and seventh at the 2017 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships inside the Huizenga Center in Grand Rapids. Senior Connor Bauserman won the conference title in the 800-meter run in a MIAA record time of 1:55.19.
Olivet College sophomore Kimberly Barber has been selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Barber is being honored for a second straight week, as she was named the MIAA Indoor Track Athlete of the Week last week.
