Women’s track & field team receives academic award from the USTFCCCA
The Olivet College women’s track & field team will receive an award for being a 2016 All-Academic Team from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Olivet College women's track & field team will receive an award for being a 2016 All-Academic Team from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The award is given to any collegiate track and field team that has a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.10 or higher.
The Comet women posted a 3.46 GPA, which tied for 46th among the 172 total NCAA Division III women's programs honored. In addition, it is the second-best among five Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schools.
Olivet is receiving this award for the sixth straight season, with the 3.46 being the top GPA of the six years.
