Women’s tennis team loses to Trine, 9-0

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to Trine (Ind.) University this afternoon inside the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic Recreation Center in Angola, Ind.
At No. 4 singles, freshman Alexis Hyatt (Lake Odessa/Lakewood) fell in three sets to Lexi Mack. After losing the first set, she bounced back to win the second set, 6-2. Mack came back to win a 10-5 pro-set for the third set and earn the win. Junior Devan Thomas (Traverse City/Elk Rapids) lost her first set, 6-0, but rebounded to only lose the second set, 6-4.
The Comets travel to play Spring Arbor University for a non-conference match Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
