The Olivet College women’s tennis team fell to Alma College, 8-1, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match this afternoon indoors at the Michigan Athletic Club in Lansing.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Alma College, 8-1, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match this afternoon indoors at the Michigan Athletic Club in Lansing.
Sophomore Lucy McNally (Berkley) picked-up the Comets' only point at the No. 4 singles flight. She defeated Nicki Malekadeli in straight sets, 6-2 and 6-1. The best flight of the day came at No. 6 singles, where freshman Alexis Hyatt (Lake Odessa/Lakewood) lost a marathon three-set match.
Olivet continues MIAA play Saturday with a 10 a.m. match at Kalamazoo College.
