The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Albion College, 9-0, this afternoon at the Dow Center Courts in Albion.
The Britons swept the three doubles flights. At No. 1, sophomore Giana Guerra (Lansing/Waverly) and freshman Caitlin LaValley (Battle Creek/Pennfield) lost a hard fought 8-6 pro-set. Guerra and sophomore Paige Sedgewick (Lennon/Powers Catholic) battled to three-set losses at No. 2 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
Olivet (5-2, 0-2 MIAA) is now idle for eight days and returns to action next Wednesday, April 7, when it plays Kalamazoo College for its home-opener. Action inside the MSU Tennis Facility in East Lansing gets started at 4:30 p.m.
