OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team was defeated by Anderson (Ind.) University, 3-0, in its home-opener this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Ravens quickly got on the scoreboard when Kennedy Hurst found the back of the net just 92 seconds into the game. Emily Wilusz earned an assist on the goal.
  • Anderson added to its lead in the 21st minute on Mailee Cornette's goal, which was also assisted by Wilusz.
  • The score stayed 2-0 at halftime.
  • The Ravens tallied their final goal in the 82nd minute. Caroline Hill's shot glanced off the keeper and into the goal. Kassidy Jeffers was credited with the assist.

FOR THE COMETS

  • Olivet was limited to one shot.
  • Freshman Natalie Rose was in goal for the first half and collected seven saves.
  • Junior Viveca Krolczyk played the second half in goal and made six saves.
