The Olivet College women’s soccer team was shutout by Hope College, 4-0, this evening at the Van Andel Soccer Stadium in Holland.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team was shutout by Hope College, 4-0, this evening at the Van Andel Soccer Stadium in Holland.
The Flying Dutch scored an early goal, 8:22 mark, and late goal, 40:13 mark, to take a 2-0 halftime lead. Hope added another goal only 45 seconds into the second half and capped the game's scoring with a goal in the 70th minute.
The Comets were held to five shots, including two for senior Lindsey Winters (Plymouth/Canton). Sophomore Deanna Zolnoski (Macomb/Henry Ford II) started in goal and faced 23 shots, while making seven saves in 75 minutes and 30 seconds of game time. Sophomore Devin Blue (Traverse City/Central) saw her first action of the season in goal, playing the final 14 minutes and 30 seconds.
Olivet will return home to face Alma College Saturday afternoon at noon.
