O’Dowd named second-team All-MIAA in women’s soccer
Olivet College junior defender Kellie O’Dowd (Jackson) has earned 2007 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second-team honors in women’s soccer.
Olivet College junior defender Kellie O'Dowd (Jackson) has earned 2007 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second-team honors in women's soccer. All-MIAA honors are based on a player's stats in MIAA play.
O'Dowd was the anchor of the Comet defense, which allowed only 10 total goals during its nine-game league schedule. In addition, she scored a goal against Tri-State (Ind.) University Oct. 13. For the entire season, O'Dowd played in 17 games, scoring two goals and recording one assist for five points.
Olivet concluded its 2007 season with a 6-9-3 overall record and 1-6-2 MIAA mark.
