The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Calvin College, 2-0, today at the Olivet soccer field.
Sophomore Gretchen Ford (Harbor Springs High School) played all 90 minutes in goal. She faced 22 shots and made 10 saves. The Lady Comets were credited with five shots, including three by sophomore midfielder Karine Campbell (Ionia High School).
Olivet is next in action on Saturday, Nov. 1 when it travels to play Adrian College at noon. The Lady Comets end their season next week with a home game against Saint Mary's (Ind.) College on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m., and on the road at Hope College on Saturday, Nov. 8 at noon.
