Women's soccer team falls to Tri-State, 5-0

The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to non-conference foe Tri-State (Ind.) University, 5-0.

The Lady Comets recorded 11 shots, including five by freshman midfielder Kristin Dickinson (Cadillac High School). In goal, freshman Dani Jacobs (Suttons Bay High School) played the first half. She allowed four goals on 13 shots and made five saves. Sophomore goalkeeper Gretchen Ford (Harbor Springs High School) saw action in the second half and also made five saves.

Olivet looks to rebound when it travels to play Alma College on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. Next Saturday, Oct. 18, the Lady Comets will host Kalamazoo College at noon.
