Women's soccer team falls to Hope, 4-0, in its MIAA opener

The Olivet College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision against Hope College today in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener.

Sophomore goalkeeer Gretchen Ford (Harbor Springs High School) played the entire game, faced 27 shots and made 14 saves. Freshmen Kaitlyn Neff (Grandville High School) and Stacey Stickney (St. Joseph High School) each had a pair of shots.

The Lady Comets will look to bounce back when they play at Tri-State University of Indiana on Saturday afternoon. Game time is noon Indiana time, 1 p.m. Michigan time.
