SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Olivet College wrestling team has received the No. 7 seed for this weekend's National Wrestling Coaches Association/Cliff Keen National Duals, presented by Hibiclens and The Marines. The Comets will face No. 10 seed University of Wis.-Whitewater in the first round Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT (noon ET).
Olivet enters the duals with a 4-4 record. Three of their four losses were against nationally-ranked teams: No. 1 Wartburg (Iowa) College, No. 6 University of Wis.-La Crosse and No. 19 Ohio Northern University, and the fourth loss was to NCAA Division I foe University of Michigan.
The Comets are coming off a 3-1 record at the Desert Duals in Las Vegas. The only loss was to Wartburg, while they defeated No. 8 Coe (Iowa) College, Loras (Iowa) College and Washington & Lee (Va.) University.
