Women’s golf team places second at Trine Fall Kickoff Classic

ANGOLA, Indiana – The Olivet College women's golf team placed second at the 2020 Trine University Kickoff Classic, held today at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.

• The Comets posted a 353 team score.
• The host Thunder took first-place with a 339 team score. Adrian College was third with a 368.
• Jenna Doumont from Trine was the medalist with a six-over par 78.

• Senior Crystal Lettinga and freshman Rayna Honsowitz were part of a three-way tie for fourth-place in the player standings with matching 86s.
• Junior Rachel Webb tied for seventh with an 89.
• Junior Logan McLane shot a 92.

• The Comets are back in action this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20, when they compete in the Bluffton (Ohio) University Beaver Fall Classic. Saturday's round will be played at the Bluffton Golf Club in Bluffton, and Sunday's round will take place at the Hidden Creek Golf Club in Lima.
