Women’s golf team finishes in second-place at Aquinas Invitational
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in second-place today at the Aquinas College Invitational, which was played at the Scott Lake Country Club in Grand Rapids.

The Comets had a team score of 333 strokes and were four strokes behind Bethel (Ind.) College. Tiffin (Ohio) University was third at 341.
Leading the way for Olivet was freshman Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland), who carded a 77 to place second of 54 golfers. Sophomore Amanda Sanders (Concord) had a round of 83, followed by sophomore Jennifer Lambarth (Saline) and senior Katie Edick (Charlotte) at 86 and 87, respectively. Freshman Trisha McKim (DeWitt) carded an 88 and junior Stephanie Nicolai (Shelbyville/ Wayland Union) rounded out the Comet lineup with an 89.
Olivet will next participate in the DePauw (Ind.) University Small College Classic Sunday-Monday, Oct. 2-3, at the Deer Creek Golf Club in Clayton, Ind.
