Women’s golf team finishes in fourth-place at Tri-State Spring Invitational

The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in fourth-place today at the Tri-State (Ind.) University Spring Invitational at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.

The Lady Comets fired a team score of 367 strokes. Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College captured the team title with a score of 325 strokes. Individually, freshman Stephanie Nicolai (Shelbyville/Wayland Union High School) led the way with a 90.

Following Nicolai was sophomore Katie Edick (Charlotte High School) with a 91. Sophomore Wendy Mickelwait (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg High School) and freshman Kristy Latimer (Battle Creek/Harper Creek High School) each fired a 93. Freshman Amanda London (Marshall High School) had a 95.

Olivet will conclude its spring schedule on Friday, April 30, at the Manchester (Ind.) College Invitational at the Sycamore Golf Club.
