ANGOLA, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's basketball team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader Trine University (Ind.), 92-39, this afternoon inside the MTI Center. Trine is ranked No. 25 in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Thunder took a 22-3 lead after one quarter, extended their advantage to 40 points, 49-9, at halftime and held a 69-25 lead at the end of the third quarter.
FOR THE COMETS
- Freshman Reese Gohsman paced Olivet with 10 points.
- Senior Kinsley Hatfield and freshman Ava Lord were next with six and five points, respectively.
