- The Comets were down only one point, 7-6, at the 6:29 mark of the opening quarter. The Knights then went on a 12-0 run over the next three minutes to push their lead to 13 points, 19-6. Olivet made a three-pointer before the teams traded layups in the final minute of the quarter to make the score 21-11 at the end of the first 10 minutes of action.
- In the second quarter, the Comets managed to close the gap to seven points, 28-21, with 5:38 left until halftime. The Knights scored 13 of the final 17 points of the quarter to lead by 16 points, 41-25, at the intermission.
- Olivet made the first two baskets of the third quarter to make the score, 41-29, at the 8:53 mark. The Comets would not get any closer for the remainder of the game.
- Sophomore Zoee Zatarga led Olivet with 16 points and six rebounds.
- Freshman Courtney Balazs came off the bench to score 13 points, grab five rebounds and make three steals.
- Senior Alicia Bullaro netted 11 points, including three baskets from behind the three-point line.
- Junior Rachel Swartz had four points, four rebounds and four blocked shots.
- After 12 games, Swartz has 29 blocks which is tied for the eighth-most in school history for a season. The four blocks in today's game now gives her 51 in her career, which is sixth all-time at Olivet.
- Gabby Timmer paced all players with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
- Stephanie Coors contributed 20 points, six rebounds and four steals.
- Sydney Cleary and Abbie Cooley finished with six and five assists, respectively.
- The Comets are off until Friday, December 31, when they host University of Northwestern Ohio. Tip-off from the Cutler Event Center is 1:30 p.m.
