Women’s basketball team loses to Finlandia, 65-45
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s basketball team was on the losing end of a 65-45 score to in-state foe Finlandia University today in the second day of the Hope College Tournament inside the DeVos Fieldhouse.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's basketball team was on the losing end of a 65-45 score to in-state foe Finlandia University today in the second day of the Hope College Tournament inside the DeVos Fieldhouse.

- The Comets led 9-2 at the 7:26 mark of the opening quarter. Over the next three minutes, Finlandia went on a 11-1 run to take a three-point lead, 13-10. Olivet came back to level the score at 15-15 before the Lions made a three-pointer to put them ahead 18-15 at the end of the quarter.
- Finlandia outscored the Comets 21-2 in the second quarter to take a 39-17 at the halftime break.
- The closest Olivet would get for the rest of the game was 14 points, 49-35, six seconds into the fourth quarter.
- Sophomore Zoee Zatarga was the lone Olivet player to score in double digits, as she had 11 points. She grabbed a team-best six rebounds.
- Senior Alicia Bullaro provided nine points on three baskets from behind the three-point arc.
- Junior Rachel Swartz blocked five shots, which ties for the fourth-most in school history for a single game.
- Bailey Froberg led all scorers with 19 points.
- Katie Lundeen scored 11 points.
- Mariah Austin and Carsyn Osterman each had 10 points.
- Osterman and Harlee Froberg pulled down 11 rebounds apiece.
- The Comets travel to Kalamazoo next Tuesday, November 23, for an exhibition game against Western Michigan University. The next countable game for Olivet is next Saturday, November 27, when it plays a 3 p.m. game at North Park (Ill.) University.
