She started the week by scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in an 82-57 loss to Hope. Lang then had 26 points and 17 rebounds, including eight on offensive glass, in just 19 minutes in an 81-60 win over Oberlin (Ohio) College. She is shooting 61.3 percent from the field and 70.4 percent from the charity stripe. Playing 131 minutes, Lang has only committed four turnovers.
"Stefanie had another strong week to help us continue to move forward as a team," said Olivet Head Coach Nicole Burford. "She has been a consistent force for us in the middle through our first five games and will continue to work to improve as our team works to improve. What she is doing to start off the season is great, but she is still learning and improving each week."
Lang and the Comets are back in action Sunday, Dec. 8, when they host North Park (Ill.) University at 3 p.m.
