HOLLAND, Mich. -- The Olivet College women's basketball team fell to nationally-ranked and Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) co-leader Hope College, 79-44, today at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.
Junior Alysia Cole (Roseville) posted a double-double to lead the Comets, as she scored 10 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. Senior Caitlin Thilo (Onondaga/Eaton Rapids) came off the bench to score seven points, including four from the charity stripe.
Carrie Snikkers led Hope 12 points and nine rebounds. Erica Bruinsma, Meredith Kussmaul and Courtney Kust each scored 10.
Olivet will close out the first half of its MIAA schedule next Thursday, Jan. 20, when it welcomes the Alma College Scots to The Cutler Event Center for a 7:30 p.m. game.
