Campbell selected MIAA Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Olivet sophomore Yrral Campbell has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

At the Calvin University Knight Invite, Campbell took first place in the open section of the hammer throw. His performance, 171 feet and 9 inches, moved him up to No. 2 on the UOlivet all-time Top 10 list. The mark also ranks second this season among MIAA throwers. Campbell also competed in the invite section of the discus throw and finished eighth.

The Comets are back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Hillsdale College Tune-Up.
