UOlivet men participate in CMU Chippewa Challenge

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Central Michigan University Chippewa Challenge.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Kyle Redd ran personal-best times of 22.52 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 49.86 seconds in the 400-meter dash. The 200 time ranks No. 8 in UOlivet history, and the 400 time is No. 7.
- Sophomore Ben Gillesby completed the 800-meter in a personal-best time of 2:23.76.
- Senior Kayden Shrock posted a personal-best time in the 400-meter dash at 51.84 seconds.
- Freshman Luke Senters finished the 800-meter run in a season-best time of 2:10.75.
- Sophomore Peter Moore matched his personal best in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet.
- Season-best marks in the field events were turned in by:
- Junior Charles Goldman in the long jump (18 feet, 10-3/4 inches)
- Freshman Kutter Vanaken in the javelin (89 feet, 2 inches)
- Senior Jake Watkins in the high jump (5 feet, 8 inches)
