UOlivet drops close 4-3 match to Manchester in season-opener

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The University of Olivet men's tennis team began its 2025-26 season with a close 4-3 setback to Manchester (Ind.) University today at the MU Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Spartans earned the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 3 flights.
• Manchester posted wins in three of the six singles flights.

FOR THE COMETS

• The No. 2 doubles duo of freshmen Dylan Wolfe and Brendan Wright won a 6-3 pro-set.
• At No. 1 singles, sophomore Lucas Anderson claimed a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 win.
• Freshmen Kyle Brown and Ethan Way won their first collegiate matches. At the No. 3 slot, Way recorded a 6-3, 5-7, 12-10 win. At the No. 4 position, Brown rallied to win 1-6, 7-6 (1), 10-5.
