UOlivet men’s swimming team splits non-conference tri-meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's swimming team split a non-conference tri-meet today at East Grand Rapids High School. The Comets fell to Aquinas College, 196-17, but defeated Lake Superior State University, 48-27.

FOR THE COMETS

• Senior Treyton Gabrielson took third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.72).
• Junior Matthew Brown was third in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:33.07) and 500-yard freestyle (5:48.89)

UP NEXT

• Olivet competes in another tri-meet next Saturday, January 18, at Alma College. The Comets will swim against the Scots and Manchester (Ind.) University.
