Bergman fails to make finals of the one-meter dive at the 2007 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming/Diving Championships
Olivet College sophomore Shawn Bergman (Chelsea) failed to make tonight’s finals in the one-meter diving competition at the 2007 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming/Diving Championships at the University of Houston.

Bergman scored 307.30 points, which ranked 22nd. Only the top eight divers will compete in the finals tonight. He will compete in the three-meter dive tomorrow. Bergman is the first diver in school history to participate in the national championships.
Joining Bergman in the preliminaries tomorrow will be junior Dustin Meisner (Temperance/Erie Mason). Meisner is seeded 11th in the 100-yard breaststroke. The prelims will get underway at 11 a.m. CT.
