Men's soccer team loses to Hope, 5-0
The Olivet men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision today at home against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Hope College.

In the game, the Flying Dutchmen had a 3-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, Hope iced the game with two goals in a span of just under two minutes.
The Fighting Comets recorded nine shots. Senior Eric Cole (Eaton Rapids High School) and sophomores Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc High School) and Rudy Pulido (Holt High School) had three shots apiece. In goal, freshman Brad Polcyn (Marshall High School) played the entire game. He faced 27 shots and made 11 saves.
Olivet is next in action when it travels to Grand Rapids to play MIAA leader Calvin College at 1:30 p.m. Next week, the Comets will play at Alma College on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m., and then end the season when they host Tri-State (Ind.) University on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m.
