Men's soccer team loses to Hope, 3-0
The Olivet College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision today at Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Hope College.

The Flying Dutch scored two quick goals in the game. The first one came in the second minute, and another just a minute later. They added the third goal in the 19th minute.
"After getting scored on early, the guys stepped up and played well attacking the ball," said third-year Head Coach Matt Wait '99. "We also played well defensively."
Freshman Brad Polcyn (Marshall High School) played the first half in goal and made one save. Sophomore goalkeeper Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) saw action in the second half and recorded seven saves.
The Fighting Comets (2-8, 1-3) are next in action on Wednesday, Oct. 8 when they host Calvin College at 4 p.m.
