Fighting Comets lose to Greensboro (N.C.), 4-1
The Olivet College men's soccer team fell to Greensboro (N.C.) College, 4-1, at the Dominoes Classic hosted by Roanoke (Va.) College. Junior Brad McCormack (Marshall High School) and sophomore Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc High School) were selected to the all-tournament team.

Senior Drew Graham (Reed City High School) was taken down on a play and senior Eric Cole (Eaton Rapids High School) scored the lone goal on a penalty kick two minutes into the second half. Sophomore Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) started the game in goal, and was replaced by freshman Brad Polcyn (Marshall High School) in the second half. Each team had five shots on goal; however four of Greensboro's shots found the back of the net.
Cole and sophomore forward Ben Rau (Sparta High School) each had two shots to lead the Comets.
Olivet will travel to Delaware, Ohio, to participate in the Ohio Wesleyan University Adidas Classic this Friday-Saturday, Sept. 5-6. On Friday evening, the Comets will play host Ohio Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. before playing Capital University of Ohio on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
