Men's basketball team loses to UM-Dearborn, 59-55, in first round of Defiance P & G Financial Tournament
The men's basketball team fell to University of Michigan-Dearborn, 59-55, tonight in the first round of the Defiance (Ohio) College Purple & Gold Financial Tournament. The Fighting Comets (2-4) will play Madonna University, who dropped a 77-73 decision to the host Yellow Jackets, in tomorrow’s consolation contest at 5 p.m.

Junior De'Andre Pruitt (River Rouge) was the lone Olivet player in double figures with 20 points. He also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
Justin Miller and Chris Shepard scored 12 points apiece to lead the Wolves.
Following tomorrow's game, Olivet will take time off for fall semester final exams and then compete at the Spring Arbor University Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10-11. The Comets will play Siena Heights on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
