Men's basketball team falls to Concordia, 87-83, in double overtime
The men's basketball team dropped an 87-83 double overtime decision against non-conference foe Concordia University this evening at the Concordia Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor. Junior Gerald Dozie (Detroit/Southeastern) recorded a double-double with a game-high 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Fighting Comets (2-1).

Olivet had a 57-38 advantage in rebounding, including a 26-9 edge in offensive rebounds. The Comets shot 39.5 percent (32-of-81) from the floor to 46.3 percent (31-of-67) for the Cardinals (3-2).
Junior De'Andre Pruitt (River Rouge) and senior Will Lee (Lansing/Everett) joined Dozie in double figures with 16 and 13 points, respectively. Junior Steve Johnson (Detroit/Murray Wright) contributed eight points while senior Ronnie Pearson (Holly) grabbed eight rebounds.
The Comets will next play Lake Superior State University Saturday, Nov. 27, against at Port Huron Northern High School. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.
