Bio
Derek Williams is in his first year as as the co-special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach at The University of Olivet in 2025.
Williams comes to Olivet after a two-year stint as a linebackers coach at Limestone (S.C.) University. Prior to that, he coached football at the high school level. Williams was the linebackers coach and assistant varsity baseball coach at Springfield (Ohio) High School for three years, and running backs and linebackers coach at Logan Elm (Ohio) High School for two seasons.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education and coaching from Ohio University and a master’s degree in business administration and sport management from Limestone.
