Three football players from The University of Olivet selected to CSC Academic All-District® team
OLIVET, Mich. – Kyle Crusan, Montreal Reid and Austin Straub from The University of Olivet football team have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, the organization announced today.
To be eligible to earn Academic All-District® honors, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average and have significant athletic credentials. The student-athlete must have also competed in 90 percent of their school's games or started in 66 percent of the team's games.
KYLE CRUSAN
Crusan was the starting center on the offensive line. He blocked for an offense which averaged 338.4 yards per game, including 260.9 passing yards.
MONTREAL REID
Reid played in all 10 games in the defensive secondary. He finished the year with 34 total tackles (20 solo and 14 assisted). Reid also intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards against Madonna University.
AUSTIN STRAUB
Straub started every game on the defensive line. He ended the 2025 campaign with 26 total tackles (16 solo and 10 assisted). Of the 26 tackles, three were quarterback sacks.
