Ieuter announces 2025 football team award winners

OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet head football coach Erik Ieuter has announced the team award winners for the 2025 season. They are as follows:
- Offensive Lineman of the Year: Kyle Crusan
- Offensive Back of the Year: Jaylan Johnson
- Offensive Player of the year: Wade Brashears
- Defensive Lineman of the Year: Dontrell Thomas
- Defensive Back of the Year: Christian McMillan
- Defensive Player of the Year: Carlton Freeman
- Special Teams Player of the Year: Aeson Hawks
- Freshman of the Year: Wade Brashears
- Offensive Scout Player of the Year: Dominic Stone
- Defensive Scout Player of the Year: Rey Hanson
- Iron Man Award (given to most dedicated in the weight room & conditioning): Aiden Spiehs
- Comet Award (given to someone who epitomizes what it means to be a Comet and exudes our core values of High character, great work ethic, competition & toughness): Charlie Grant
- Team Most Valuable Player: Wade Brashears
Olivet will open the 2026 season on Thursday, September 3, when it hosts Millikin (Ill.) University. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. from the Cutler Athletic Complex.
