Heart-Wilkins selected to D3football.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Olivet College senior defensive end Ta'Mar Heart-Wilkins has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.

Heart-Wilkins played a pivotal role in the football team's 49-7 win over Kalamazoo College. He had five total tackles (four solo and one assisted), including 4.5 for negative 21 yards. Three tackles for loss were quarterback sacks for minus 19 yards, with one also being a forced fumble. For the game, the Olivet defense limited the Hornets to 137 yards of total offense, as 90 of the yards were on Kalamazoo's scoring drive late in the fourth quarter.

Heart-Wilkins and the Comets (5-3, 2-3 MIAA) return to the field Saturday at Adrian College. Kick-off at Docking Stadium is set for 1 p.m.
