Carney voted MIAA Pitcher of the Week
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – For a fourth time this season, The University of Olivet senior Bryan Carney has been voted the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
On the mound, Carney pitched seven and one-third innings to post the win in UOlivet's 6-1 victory over Kalamazoo College. He allowed two hits, while striking out 12 batters and walking nobody. For the game, Carney threw 88 pitches, including 62 strikes.
Carney ends the 2026 season with a 7-3 overall record and 1.35 ERA, while striking out a single-season UOlivet record 122 batters. The ERA is second lowest and seven wins are tied for the third-most.
