UOlivet cross country teams earn USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Olivet men's and women's cross country teams have been selected to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2025 fall semester. To be eligible for this honor, the team must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.1 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recently completed grading period.
Under the leadership of head coach Karen Lutzke, the UOlivet women posted a 3.74 cumulative GPA, while the Comet men had a 3.34 cumulative GPA. The UOlivet women have received this award for the 14th time in the last 15 years, and the men are recipients for the 13th time in the last 15 years.
This year, the USTFCCCA recognized 194 men's teams and 218 women's teams in NCAA Division III. Seven of the nine women's programs and five men's programs from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) are recipients of this honor.
